CUT-OFF DATE DEFINITION & REFUND RULES
In order to allow sufficient time for pre-order and receipt of tickets, and/or to give restaurants and events prior notice of head-count, each of our trip plans includes a “cut-off date”. This date is typically about a week before departure but, in some cases (eg TUTS performances) can be as much as a month before.
As such, “cut-off date” is defined as follows:
1) The date by which payment must be received to qualify as a trip participant.
a) Exceptions may be allowed only with prior permission from the trip coordinator (281-251-1018).
NO REFUNDS are given for cancellations beyond the cut-off date (except for events cancelled by the 50-Plus Group Seniors club). If you are unable to attend a trip, please call the trip coordinator to see if there is an alternate to take your place.
1) If so, the alternate’s payment will be refunded to you at the next 50-Plus Group Seniors meeting.
2) If not, you may arrange for someone else to take your place. You are responsible for informing the trip coordinator of your alternate’s name so he/she will be allowed to board the bus.
If no one is on the alternate list, AND if you cannot find a replacement for the trip, a refund CANNOT be made.
