KING TUT EXHIBIT AND HOUSTON POLICE MOUNTED
PATROL
We will visit the Houston Police Department Mounted Patrol facility in the morning, lunch at Katz Deli, and see the King Tut Exhibit at the Houston Museum of Fine Arts in the afternoon. Cost for the trip will be $16, early bird rate or $22, regular senior rate (early bird tickets for Museum must be signed up for by Sept.8th, after Sept.8th cost will be $22 per person) and the cost for your lunch. More information to follow in reference to departure time.

Annual Christmas Dinner
The Cypresswood 50+ Group will hold its annual Christmas Dinner at The Texas Land and Cattle Steak House, located at 8015 FM 1960. The festivities will commence at 6:30pm.
A menu and signup sheets are available in the December Section of the activities book.
January 12, 2012 (Thursday)
Hearts Veterans Museum and lunch We will leave the Cypresswood east club house at 10:15 going to Huntsville, Texas to have a early lunch at the Farmhouse Cafe (menu in book) and to visit the Hearts Veterans Museum and convention facility. The Veterans Museum is for and about all veterans, male and female, that have ever been in or associated with any branch of the U.S. Military since the Revolutionary war. Not only are they a educational facility, they are active with current veterans, offering information and help, as well as sending care packages to troops overseas and to those in veterans hospitals. We will be back to the Cypresswood club house approximately 4:30 pm. Cost per person $6 + Lunch ----- Cutoff date: Jan 3, 2012

Crighton Theatre -- Barefoot In The Park
The bus departs at 4:30 pm from the Cypresswood east club house for the Crighton Theatre in Conroe, Texas. We will stop for dinner at Vernon's Kuntry Katfish Restaurant (menu in book) prior to the 8:00 pm performance. Barefoot In The Park", a comedy set in the 60's, was written by Neil Simon. The production not only ran on Broadway for many years, but was made into a award winning movie. We should be back to the Cypresswood club house around 11:30pm. Cost per person $16 + Dinner ---- Cutoff date: Feb. 8, 2012

CUT-OFF DATE DEFINITION & REFUND RULES
In order to allow sufficient time for pre-order and receipt of tickets, and/or to give restaurants and events prior notice of head-count, each of our trip plans includes a “cut-off date”. This date is typically about a week before departure but, in some cases (eg TUTS performances) can be as much as a month before.
As such, “cut-off date” is defined as follows:
1) The date by which payment must be received to qualify as a trip participant.
a) Exceptions may be allowed only with prior permission from the trip coordinator (281-251-1018).
NO REFUNDS are given for cancellations beyond the cut-off date. (You will receive credit on a future trip for events cancelled by the 50-Plus Group Seniors club after you have paid.) If you are unable to attend a trip, please call the trip coordinator to see if there is an alternate to take your place.
1) If so, the alternate’s payment will be credited to you for a future 50-Plus Group Seniors trip.
2) If not, you may arrange for someone else to take your place. You are responsible for informing the trip coordinator of your alternate’s name so he/she will be allowed to board the bus.
If no one is on the alternate list, AND if you cannot find a replacement for the trip, a refund CANNOT be made.
