Harris County Precinct 4 lets seniors use a free bus with driver and fuel to have day trips in a 150 mile radius of Spring.

Seafood Lunch, Harbor Tour and the Strand In Galveston
Due to a parking problem (swim meet competition) at the Club on this date, the pickup point for the bus will be the Cypress Creek Christian Church parking lot at 6823 Cypresswood Dr. (this is the big parking lot behind the County Library and close to the County Court House Annex) the bus leaves 9:15 sharp. Eat a light breakfast because our first stop in Galveston will be for lunch at Shrimp N Stuff Seafood Restaurant for an early lunch (approx. 11:00). After lunch we will head for Pier 22 to take the Historic Harbor and Dolphin Watch Boat Tour on the Seagull 11. The Seagull 11 is a modern 50ft vessel designed strictly for water tours, it has both protected and open viewing areas.
After we return from the Harbor Tour you can visit the Marine Museum (same place where Seagull 11 docks) for an $8 admittance fee, or you have an alternate choice walking up to the Strand for a while, since we will be only a short block from it. For you folks that have already seen the museum and are not into shopping there are plenty of places to sit down and have a cold beer, a soft drink, or bowl of ice cream and people watch. We will head back home around 4 to 4:30 and try to have you home around 6:00 pm. The cost for this trip will be $10 per person (Boat tour tickets). Everyone will be responsible for their own lunch expense.

Best Little Whorehouse In Texas -- Sponsored by TUT's
We have tickets and a bus for the 2:00 afternoon performance of the stage show "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas". Due to the limited amount of discount tickets available to the county we only have 20 tickets. We will leave the Cypresswood Clubhouse at 11:00 am and stop for Brunch at Strack Farms Restaurant before going downtown for the show.
Cost per person: $24 + cost of meal (Good $12 Brunch Buffet)

CUT-OFF DATE DEFINITION & REFUND RULES
In order to allow sufficient time for pre-order and receipt of tickets, and/or to give restaurants and events prior notice of head-count, each of our trip plans includes a “cut-off date”. This date is typically about a week before departure but, in some cases (eg TUTS performances) can be as much as a month before.
As such, “cut-off date” is defined as follows:
1) The date by which payment must be received to qualify as a trip participant.
a) Exceptions may be allowed only with prior permission from the trip coordinator (281-251-1018).
NO REFUNDS are given for cancellations beyond the cut-off date. (You will receive credit on a future trip for events cancelled by the 50-Plus Group Seniors club after you have paid.) If you are unable to attend a trip, please call the trip coordinator to see if there is an alternate to take your place.
1) If so, the alternate’s payment will be credited to you for a future 50-Plus Group Seniors trip.
2) If not, you may arrange for someone else to take your place. You are responsible for informing the trip coordinator of your alternate’s name so he/she will be allowed to board the bus.
If no one is on the alternate list, AND if you cannot find a replacement for the trip, a refund CANNOT be made.
